Two piece construction, in copper with orange enamels on the obverse and blue enamels on the reverse, measuring 38. 2 mm (w) x 43 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, intact enamels, green oxidation evident along the outer edges of the insignia on the reverse, original ribbon, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Military Sports Merit Medal was created by decree on August 14, 1935.
