(1917 1921 Issue). A circular iron medal, the obverse centre presents the crown of Wrttemberg within a circular laurel wreath, the reverse centre inscribed in Gothic characters FR TREUE DIENSTE BEI DER FAHNE (FOR LOYAL SERVICE UNDER THE FLAG), above the Roman numeral IX (9), measuring 31. 56 mm in diameter, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in very fine condition.
