Frilly Soap Dish - Snail Stephanie Rydle this piece is a testamentSoap dish thrown on the wheel by hand using white stoneware clay. A foot ring is turned into the base and drainage holes are added. Bisque fired to 1000 degrees when dry, stamped, waxed and coated in a glossy transparent glaze. The piece is then placed back in the kiln for its 1230 degree centigrade glaze firing. A transfer of Paige's sketchbook drawings are then cut and individually placed onto the piece and smoothed into place. The piece is then put
