This is a very nice musket with an outstanding wood stock of very well patterned hardwood. The mounts are all brass and the musket has been converted from original flintlock to percussion probably in the early 1840s. The lock still retains the name POT." indicating that it was manufactured at the great arsenal just outside Berlin; "Potsdam". Interestingly the hammer screw is brass, looks great but might be a
