This is a WWII era (possibly 1950's) Soviet Navy Jack Flag that measures 29 inches by 22 inches. It is constructed of wool bunting with hoist sleeve and rope line. The design features a red field with a large cut out star with hammer and sickle. This size Naval jack was used on the bow of small craft and on submarines. Exceptionally hard to find WWII or Cold War Era examples.
