Constructed of Gold and exquisitely crafted blue and white enamels

Each name-tag is constructed of plastic with a black lacquered foreground with recessed white capital letters reading  “Powell” with white borders along the four edges of the tag

These excavations continued during the Second World War and the need for this work prompted the British government to request Canada’s assistance

Germany, Heer. A Pair of Medical Oberfeldwebel Shoulder Straps Hold plastic laminated(Heer Paar Schulterklappen fr einen Oberfeldwebel der Sanittstruppe). A matching pair of Heer Medical Oberfeldwebel shoulder straps, each constructed of dark green wool, trimmed with dark blue piping, bordered by silver aluminum wire tresses, and pinned with a zink Medical cypher flanked by two pips, both unmarked and measuring 45 mm (w) x 120 mm (l), one strap demonstrating some mothing, in uniform removed and overall very fine condition.
